Jambinai (잠비나이) is a Korean post-rock band that fuses traditional Korean instruments (geomungo, haegeum, piri) with electric guitar and percussion. Founded by Ilwoo Lee, Eunyoung Sim, and Bomi Kim.

I joined as a guest guitarist for NAVER Onstage Episode 157 (2013) — three songs were broadcast.

Notes

This was a stylistically unusual collaboration — switching from metalcore (Noeazy) to a band that uses traditional Korean string instruments required learning a different rhythmic vocabulary and tone. The experience shaped how I think about context in performance: the same guitar phrase reads differently when placed against geomungo vs. distorted power chords.
